I booked the hotel for my elderly in-laws. They wanted to be able to see the hoe and the sea from their room. The view was perfect from their room. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything they needed from towels to toiletries, to coffee etc. The weather changed and they felt a bit cold so ask for a blanket, within 10 minutes 2 blankets were delivered to their room. They said the breakfast was excellent, so much choice. Jessica helped them with their breakfast as they both have shakes and find it difficult to carry things without spilling it. They said she was a lovely girl and very helpful. The staff were all very welcoming at the hotel, but another special mention goes to Angela who attended to their room. She was very friendly and did a good job. They loved the coffee cafe on the ground floor along with the Malteesers that came with the coffee. Plus it was a good place to watch the world go by. Not being very mobile this was important to them as it made them feel part of it

Super convenient location being right near the Hoe and not far from other shops and the Town centre. The flat screen TV was such a lovely addition to the room with plenty of channels to choose from. Something I particularly enjoyed was the reading lights above the bed :). Noise wise, despite being near such amenities there was no road noise that was noticeable apart from the rare siron. Very clean and tidy and the shower was lovely with the added touch of the shampoo, conditioner and body wash all being provided, I did bring my own so I didn't use it but it was a nice touch. Staff were polite and quick to see you and everything was so clean and you could smell the cleaning products throughout the hotel. Will definitely return and hopefully try the pool.

Always very satisfied with location , lovely staff and excellent breakfast. Unfortunately on this occasion I was very disappointed with the location of room, (202) . The view was a brick wall and the bathroom was so small. I,ve stayed here numerous times and know this is not the norm . Given my booking was months in advance , the hotel was far from full, I couldn’t understand why we were given what can only be described as an inferior room and not up to the normal standard .

Convenient parking with a direct lift from the car park to our room. Great central location, friendly and helpful staff. We booked an executive room 1017 which had amazing views of the Hoe. This was a large room. plenty of space and a comfortable king bed. Bathroom was small but clean and adequate. We had dinner in the Marco Pierre restaurant on the penthouse floor (pre-booked online). Had an excellent dining experience served by Paul. Panoramic views of Plymouth at night.

Martin

Size of room, bed and leisure facilities were excellent. We liked the pool and sauna but the pool had such a low floor at the shallow end that it was difficult to turn round when swimming lengths. There was a quiet area in the bar and the staff there were very obliging and friendly. The breakfasts were good with lots of choice and staff regularly restocking the supplies. Best of all, were the super coffee machines.
